This role assists event coordinators and team members with organizing event details, preparing venues, supporting guests, coordinating supplies, and helping ensure smooth and professional events. Responsibilities Assist with preparing event spaces and coordinating event-day service activities. Help organize tables, chairs, decorations, signage, displays, equipment, and event materials. Assist with organizing event supplies, schedules, checklists, and service requirements. Support event coordinators with routine planning and administrative tasks. Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and organizing event equipment and supplies. Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout events. Assist with registration, seating, directions, and routine guest questions. Help guests locate event areas, facilities, seating, and scheduled activities. Support food and beverage service when assigned. Maintain clean, organized, and presentable event areas throughout each event. Restock refreshments, supplies, guest materials, utensils, and other service items. Communicate guest requests, supply needs, schedule changes, and service concerns to event supervisors. Assist with coordinating basic needs with vendors, caterers, venue staff, and other event service providers. Follow event schedules, setup plans, company procedures, and workplace safety guidelines. Help monitor event timelines and communicate important updates to the appropriate team members. Handle event equipment, decorations, supplies, and customer property carefully and responsibly. Assist with event cleanup, breakdown, packing, and storage after events. Help return event spaces to a clean, organized, and presentable condition. Support effective communication and teamwork during busy or changing event environments. Perform other event management, coordination, and service support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous event management, event planning, hospitality, catering, venue, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow schedules, instructions, checklists, and event procedures. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in busy, changing, and event-based environments. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, moving, and arranging event materials. Ability to remain calm and professional when handling schedule changes or guest requests. Flexible availability for event schedules, including evenings and weekends when required.
