Slick City is a fun-filled, family-friendly action park featuring indoor slides, birthday parties, group events, private rentals, and SO much more! We're seeking an energetic, organized, and guest-focused Events Manager to lead our events and party operations. The Events Manager will oversee birthday parties, group events, field trips, private rentals, and other special events while developing a high-performing events team. This role is responsible for ensuring events run smoothly, guests receive an exceptional experience, and the park continues to grow its events business. Position Summary As the Events Manager , you'll take ownership of the guest experience from event preparation through execution. You'll lead and develop our Party Host team, coordinate events with other departments, communicate with guests, and ensure every celebration meets Slick City standards. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who is highly organized, energetic, comfortable leading a team, and passionate about creating memorable experiences. Job Type Part-time to full-time Flexible hours; must be available nights, weekends, and holidays Reliable transportation required
Pay:
Starting at $18 per hour, based on experience Key Responsibilities Oversee the successful execution of birthday parties, group events, field trips, private rentals, and special events Deliver an exceptional experience for party and event guests from arrival through departure Lead, train, coach, and develop Party Hosts and other event team members Ensure Party Hosts are prepared, energetic, professional, and providing excellent guest service Coordinate event schedules, staffing, party rooms, food timing, and other event needs Review upcoming events and ensure the park is properly prepared in advance Communicate effectively with guests regarding event details, questions, requests, and concerns Handle guest escalations and resolve event-related issues professionally Support event sales and identify opportunities to increase event bookings and revenue Encourage appropriate event upgrades and add-on sales Maintain organized and clean party rooms and event areas Ensure parties and events begin and end on schedule Coordinate with the Café/Kitchen team to ensure event food and beverages are prepared and delivered on time Monitor event supplies and communicate inventory needs to management Maintain Slick City brand standards throughout all parties and events Promote a positive, energetic, and uplifting culture among the Events team Recognize strong team performance and address performance concerns when necessary Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new Party Hosts Build schedules and help ensure proper event staffing based on bookings and business needs Monitor event performance, guest feedback, and opportunities for improvement Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by following all company safety and sanitation standards Work closely with the General Manager and other members of the management team Assist with park operations as needed Perform additional duties or responsibilities as requested by Management What We're Looking For Strong leadership and team-development skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Strong guest service and communication skills Ability to manage multiple parties and events simultaneously Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and conflict-management skills Energetic, positive, and outgoing personality Strong work ethic and willingness to be hands-on Ability to coach and motivate younger team members Comfortable communicating with parents, schools, organizations, and other event guests Sales-minded with the ability to identify opportunities for upgrades and additional event revenue Ability to work effectively with other departments and managers Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Qualifications High School Diploma Management or supervisory experience: 1 year (Required) Previous experience in events, hospitality, entertainment, restaurants, or guest service preferred Event or party coordination experience preferred Reliable transportation to and from work

From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
