This position is not an employee of the Johnston Community School District.

School Activity & Athletic Facilities Are you organized, dependable, and passionate about supporting our local students and athletics? The Booster Club is seeking one or more enthusiastic individuals to manage our concession stands during school events and athletic games. This is a incredibly rewarding, community-focused role that directly supports our school's programs.Flexible Scheduling:
This position can easily be split between 2 or more people ! Whether you want to share duties by working every other week or alternating events, we are happy to work with a schedule that fits your life.Key Responsibilities Inventory & Supplies:
Track inventory, order product, keep stands stocked, and maintain strong working relationships with vendors.Team Leadership:
Hire and train concession supervisors to help run various stands during high-volume events.Volunteer Coordination:
Partner with school groups to schedule and coordinate volunteers for events.Event Operations:
Arrive 1 hour prior to events for setup and stay through clean-up (typically leaving right as the event concludes).Financial Management:
Count, balance, and document money bags accurately after each event, ensuring proper hand-off to the Booster Club Treasurer.Maintenance & Seasonal Shutdown:
Keep stands clean and organized in accordance with school rental agreements, including end-of-season deep cleaning and winterization/shutdown.Qualifications & Requirements ServSafe Certification:
Preferred, but not required to apply . Candidates must agree to complete the ServSafe class upon hire. (The Booster Club will fully reimburse the certification fee once achieved!) Strong organizational, communication, and basic bookkeeping skills. Friendly, reliable, and comfortable working with volunteers, students, and vendors.
