JOB SUMMARY

Student Activities at Vincennes University•Jasper Campus is seeking applicants for their everyday staff positions. Positions to be filled are student part-time hourly and work-study positions. Shifts will be a variety of morning, afternoon, and evening, which can be worked around your school schedule.

REPORTING

This position will report directly to the Student Success & Engagement Coordinator

GENERAL HOURS

Work Study Employee•dependent on Federal Work Study reward Part-time Student Employee•8-10 hrs/week

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Clean and disinfect all equipment Work at a variety of different locations in the Ruxer Gym, JCCB Rec Room, ACE, or other event locations on campus Assist with set-up or tear down for events Enforce all gym and weight room rules, policies and regulations Inspect the Ruxer Gym weight room and report unsafe conditions/equipment to the Student Success & Engagement Coordinator Become familiar with all gym equipment in the facilities Attend and participate in all meetings/training Answer any questions from visitors

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED•required

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

First Aid, BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens), CPR and AED certification•preferred, but not required Interested applicants should submit a Vincennes University application, resume/cv, and full contact information for three professional references.
