Job Description
## Standard Job Description Position Summary drive the planning, execution, and post‑event actions of assigned trade shows. Working independently, the incumbent travels domestic and international (≈ 35 % of time) to oversee exhibit set‑up, on‑site support, and dismantle while ensuring each event aligns with brand standards, assigned budget, and strategic business goals. Flawless Execution Own the full event life‑cycle: exhibit‑space selection, transportation, catering, vendor coordination, on‑site logistics, and teardown. Maintain the annual trade‑show calendar, develop detailed project plans, and enforce deadlines. Maintain records and files, show planning documents, budget tracker, and trade show schedule updates for assigned shows Vendor & Contract Management Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors (hotels, convention centers, exhibit contractors, shipping providers). Manage quotes, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and expense tracking Request model shipments and promotional materials for assigned shows. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Product Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Communications, and Viz Comms to define event objectives, target audiences, and messaging to create a memorable customer experience. On‑Site Operations Travel to event locations to oversee exhibit set‑up, provide real‑time support, and manage pack‑up/return shipment of materials. Resolve schedule, vendor, shipment, or logistical issues promptly; act as the primary point of contact for on‑site matters. Post‑Event Review & Continuous Improvement Conduct post‑event "hot‑wash" debriefs, analyze attendance, costs, and results; gather feedback from Internal stakeholders and make recommendations for future participation. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move event materials onsite (up to 20 lb) ## Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Self‑starter with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proven stakeholder‑management and negotiation skills
- Ability to work evenings/weekends and travel ~35 % We are seeking candidates who bring a collaborative spirit and an innovative mindset to every project. ## Desired Skills
- 5-7 years experience managing trade shows;
- 2-3 years of project management experience
- Certification CTSM or CMP (preferred)
- Awareness of RMS platforms and strategy

GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $90600.00 - $168200.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $81500.00 - $151300.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $72500.00 - $134600.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $65200.00 - $121200.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.
