Creative Dining is hiring immediately for a full-time Catering Administrator.
Location:
1800 E Beltline Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546
Schedule:
Full time schedule. Must be available to work Monday - Friday.
Requirement:
1-2 years of experience required.
Pay Range:
$20-23 Position Reports to: Catering Manager At Creative Dining, we believe in the power of hospitality to create connections and build community. Job Summary To assist the Catering Department with administrative and operational tasks associated with scheduling and executing catering events at Calvin University; including, but not limited to Prince Conference Center, West Campus Dining Halls, Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex and Hospitality Suites, and DeWit Manor House. This role will also work closely with Calvin University's Event Services & Venues Department to ensure proper Internal Client coordination. Essential Functions/Responsibilities Performs administrative duties in support of the catering department and catering services Sends assigned weekly sales reports to Campus Dining Services office Passes along all catering requests to Catering Manager for fulfillment Works in coordination with Catering Manager to accurately update Banquet Event Orders Works in coordination with Catering Manager to Confirm upcoming events Works with Catering Manager to schedule, plan, and execute logistics for all Catering Events Helps enter, organize, and update EMS Reservations and Banquet Event Orders as requested Assists in gathering various data reporting when requested Works in coordination with Calvin Event Services & Venues Department to ensure accurate and timely event invoicing and payment collection Maintains records and prepares reports for continuous improvement for catering events. Communicates directly with the Catering Manager and the Food and Beverage Director regarding any complaints, problems, or compliments from customers or staff

Must maintain professionalism at all times, and work with others in a cooperative manner, even while working under pressure. Willing to engage actively in the physical work of a high-quality hospitality service operation. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
