Job Description

Description This role is perfect for someone who is comfortable being the "face" of the resort's activities program. You should enjoy speaking to groups, using a microphone, energizing an audience, and adapting your style to connect with guests of varying ages and interests. If you thrive in the spotlight and love creating a sense of community, you'll feel right at home here. You'll create and lead engaging events and activities for our guests and their families. Whether you're helping with games, hosting events, or ensuring everyone is having a blast, you'll play a key role in making memories that last a lifetime. We are seeking full-time team member to bring energy and enthusiasm to our vibrant resort!
Job Summary:
As an Activities Coordinator, you will… Planning, coordinating, and supervising activities such as picnics, sporting events, dances, dinners, and crafts. Set-up and clean-up after events. Maintain a sheet tracking attendance for each activity. Train team members and volunteers. Distribute the weekly newsletter to resort guests. Ensure all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition. Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Education. Experience in event or recreational planning preferred. (Think planning sorority or fraternity events.) Enjoys working with adults and children of all ages. Strong planning, organizational and communication skills. Valid driver's license. Ability to work well independently as well as on a team. Ability to multitask. Flexible schedule. Ability to work PM shifts.
