$18.00-$20.00 per hour An Equal Opportunity Employer The City of Wyoming is seeking part-time Reservation & Events Assistants to join the Parks and Recreation Department. This position will support facility reservations, Farmers Market and Community special events at the Godwin Mercado and is a key part of the team that keeps the community thriving. The Godwin Mercado honors Wyoming's rich heritage and thriving modern culture of the neighborhood. This new building serves as Wyoming's gathering space from farmers markets to private and community events. The ideal candidate is organized, detailed-oriented, and comfortable multi-tasking. Strong customer service and the ability to communicate clearly with residents, staff and community partners is essential for success in this role. This position will require set-ups, tear downs, vendor check-in, assisting with farmers market and community special events, and light janitorial duties. The Reservation & Events Assistant will be responsible for the smooth execution of private reservations, which may include alcohol service, pending appropriate city licensure.
