Duties Educational & Professional Seminar Planning:
Plan, schedule, and execute educational seminars and continuing education programs tailored for architects, engineers, and code officials.
Contractor & Workforce Development:
Curate, organize, and deliver targeted continuing education workshops and training programs for mason contractors and their workforce.
Social Event Management:
End-to-end planning and execution of key organizational social gatherings, including annual golf tournaments, BBQs, board dinners, and networking events.
Curriculum & Accreditation Coordination:
Collaborate with industry experts and speakers to source relevant topics, secure continuing education credits/accreditation, and ensure instructional content aligns with industry standards.
Event Logistics & Operations:
Oversee all logistical elements for educational and social events, including site selection, vendor negotiation, catering, audiovisual setup, registration, and on-site event coordination.
Marketing & Attendance Promotion:
Partner with communications teams to promote upcoming seminars, training sessions, and social outings to drive attendance across all target audiences.
Budgeting & Vendor Relations:
Establish and manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with venues and vendors, and monitor revenue/expenses for both educational programs and social functions.
Stakeholder & Board Engagement:
Work closely with board members, committee leaders, sponsors, and industry partners to ensure alignment on event goals, board dinner agendas, and overall organizational objectives.
