Job Description
We are looking for a day-of Event Manager to join our team. You must be able to hustle and have a great attitude! We are a full-service catering company specializing in weddings and events. You get to see beautiful places and make people's dreams come true! You should be able to take direction and follow a timeline, be clean-cut, and be a team player. Ultimately, you'll deliver a complete menu, an excellent event experience, and an overall great night for our guests! We prefer at least two years of management in catering/service experience. Responsibilities Serve as the primary day-of point of contact for clients/vendors on event day, ensuring exceptional service and seamless communication. Manage event timelines, floor plans, vendor coordination, and client expectations to ensure successful execution. Be comfortable in all banquet service style including Buffet, Family Style, Station Style and Plated Dinners. Lead and direct event staff (3-20 servers) during setup, service, and breakdown while maintaining company standards. Collaborate with culinary, operations, sales, and venue teams to ensure all event details are accurately communicated and executed. Proactively identify and resolve issues before and during events while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Conduct pre-event meetings with internal teams to review event specifications, special requests, and operational needs. Monitor event quality, guest satisfaction, and service standards, making real-time adjustments as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and venue procedures throughout each event. Complete post-event reporting, including documenting client feedback, operational concerns, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
