Responsible for all aspects of the events, bingo cards and/or raffle tickets and assigning bingo cards/raffle rolls to floor-workers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Event Staff reports to the Gaming Manager. Maintains all equipment in proper working order Assists players as necessary. Maintains accountability for activity conducted. Responsible for selling bingo cards and/or raffle tickets Counts, records, and attests to the cash and bingo cards/raffle at the open and close of their shift. Cashier will count bingo cards given to floor-workers and cards and cash returned by floor-workers. Cashier will determine raffle tickets sold and verify with cash returned by floor-worker. Floor-worker counts bingo cards/raffle tickets and cash with the Cashier. Caller will announce to the players, all policies before the bingo game or raffle begins. Caller will call bingo/raffle numbers according to gaming rules and organization policies. Caller keeps track of all numbers called. Floor-worker reads back winning letter number combinations to the Bingo Caller for verification. Floor-worker pays out bingo prizes and/or raffle prizes. Complete all paperwork necessary as required by gaming rules and organization policies.Requirements:
Individual must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and pass an annual background check. 2+ years of charitable gaming experience is preferred. Individual must have good math skills, excellent people skills and analytical thinking, strong communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong understanding of table games.Career Insights for Event Planner
