Job Description
Position Overview The Manager, Enterprise Events & Experience leads the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide associate events and experience moments that build connection, pride, culture, and belonging. This role owns the operational delivery model for key associate-facing moments while helping connect those events to a broader associate experience and culture strategy. The Manager serves as the lead for enterprise event planning, stakeholder coordination, and execution excellence. In addition to delivering high-visibility events with quality and consistency, this role is responsible for strengthening planning discipline, improving prioritization and intake, providing event consultation to business leaders, and helping define how success is measured across the events and experience portfolio. This leader manages planners, partners across HR, Communications, and business teams, and helps translate event activity into meaningful associate experience outcomes. A Day in the Life Enterprise Event & Experience Planning & Execution Lead end-to-end planning and execution of enterprise associate events and culture moments. Lead the full lifecycle of assigned enterprise events and associate experience moments, from concept through execution and closeout. Oversee planning and delivery of high-visibility enterprise and experience moments such as the All Company Meeting, Milestone Anniversary Brunch, Field & Stores Leadership Meeting, Merchandise Meeting, Celebrate Unity Day, Sample Sale, Beyond the Buy, DC of the Year and other enterprise events. Ensure events are executed on time, within scope, and with a high standard of quality that create moments that build connection, pride, culture, and belonging. Anticipate issues, solve problems quickly, and ensure strong event-day readiness and execution. Manage run-of-show, venue/logistics coordination, materials, shipping, production elements, and contingency planning. Enterprise Event & Experience Strategy Develop the events calendar roadmap across the Events & Experience portfolio. Establish and manage clear intake, prioritization, and planning processes for new and existing work. Create visibility into timelines, owners, milestones, dependencies, and pressure points. Help bring additional structure and discipline to the event planning model without disrupting work already in motion. Connect enterprise events and visible associate moments to broader goals related to connection, pride, belonging, culture, and engagement. Partner with the Director to shape how events support the overall associate engagement and experience strategy. Help define the intended outcome and success measures for different types of experience moments. Ensure events are not only well-executed, but also meaningful and aligned to enterprise culture priorities. Establish post-event feedback loops, participation reporting, and insights summaries to assess event effectiveness, associate sentiment, operational learnings, and opportunities to improve future efforts. Stakeholder Alignment Partner closely with leaders across HR, Internal Communications, Culture & Community Impact, and business teams to align on event purpose, scope, roles, and decisions. Serve as the primary coordination point for cross-functional partners involved in enterprise event delivery. Facilitate planning meetings, stakeholder reviews, and decision-making forums. Partner on agenda design, speaker preparation, presentation flow, executive run-of-show, and content sequencing to ensure events deliver a clear, cohesive, and high-impact associate experience. Provide event consultation to business leaders as requested. Budgets, Vendors, & Risk Oversee event budgets, vendor relationships, purchase needs, contract coordination, and logistical planning. Identify and mitigate execution risks across multiple concurrent priorities. Ensure fiscal discipline and effective use of external resources. Team Leadership & Development Direct, coach, and develop planners responsible for enterprise events and experience delivery. Build a strong team operating rhythm through planning cadences, trackers, templates, and execution standards. Clarify roles, work allocation, and accountability across the planning team. Foster a team culture of responsiveness, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement
