REQUIRED POSITION
Nevada Primary Care / Casa de Salud is seeking a professional, outgoing, and dependable Event Coordinator / Community Representative to represent our healthcare practice at local community events, health fairs, and outreach activities throughout the Reno/Sparks area. per diem, as-needed position , primarily for weekend events . This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the community and is comfortable speaking with the public.
IMPORTANT
This Is an Active Outreach Position This is NOT a position where you sit behind a table and wait for people to approach you. We are looking for someone who is comfortable actively engaging with the community , approaching attendees, starting conversations, introducing our clinic and services, distributing materials, and encouraging people to visit our booth. The right person should be naturally outgoing, approachable, confident, and comfortable speaking with many different people. Responsibilities Represent Nevada Primary Care / Casa de Salud professionally at community events Set up and break down event tables, banners, displays, and promotional materials Pick up and return event supplies as needed Greet and engage community members Explain the clinic's services and available healthcare resources Distribute flyers and educational/marketing materials Encourage interested individuals to learn more about or contact the clinic Maintain an organized and professional event area Provide a brief event report following each event, including attendance, community engagement, and any important feedback Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish strongly
REQUIRED
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable approaching and speaking with the public Professional appearance and demeanor Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Available for weekend events Reliable transportation Ability to transport and set up basic event materials Prior experience in community outreach, healthcare, marketing, customer service, or event coordination is a plus but not required Compensation & Schedule $200 per event Most events require approximately 4 hours , including event setup, breakdown, and supply pickup/return when applicable. This is a per diem/as-needed position. Hours and number of events are not guaranteed. Paid training is provided. We are looking for someone who can confidently represent our practice and help us build meaningful connections within our community.
