Part-Time Position Summary The Part-Time Advancement Assistant provides critical support to the team. This position assists the Advancement Events and Alumnae Relations Manager in all aspects of event preparation and execution, alumnae engagement, and donor stewardship. The role also includes administrative and logistical support for alumnae programs, event tracking, and coordination with marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless and successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities Event Support Assist with planning, preparation, and execution of special events, reunions, and alumnae programs. Coordinate event logistics, including setup, materials, and follow-up communications. Work collaboratively with the Marketing Department to create event invitations, digital communications, and promotional materials. Prepare and track event-related items such as guest lists, name tags, materials, and supplies. Support on-site event management and assist with guest check-in, hospitality, and troubleshooting. Administrative & Financial Coordination Track event income and expenses in coordination with the Finance Department to ensure accuracy. Manage event-related mailings, invitations, and communications. Maintain database and files related to alumnae engagement, sponsorships, and event participation. Alumnae Relations Serve as liaison to the Alumnae Board; attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items. Support alumnae outreach and engagement efforts, including communications and recognition initiatives. Development & Stewardship Research potential grant opportunities to support special projects and events. Prepare and send thank-you letters to event guests, donors, and sponsors in a timely and personalized manner. Qualifications Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database management. Experience in event planning, fundraising, or alumnae relations preferred. Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively across departments.Pay:
