Job Description
Description We are looking for a showroom manager to lead the daily guest experience and operational flow of our retail furniture showroom. This contract to permanent placement opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys blending customer service, sales support, and administrative coordination in a design-focused environment. The person in this role will help create a welcoming showroom atmosphere, strengthen client relationships, and support business growth through attentive service and organized execution.
Responsibilities:
+ Greet walk-in customers and scheduled visitors + Conduct showroom tours and present products to clients, dealers, architects, and designers + Manage showroom operations including event setup, technology, catering coordination, deliveries, and maintaining a clean, organized space + Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries regarding products, pricing, ship dates, and general information + Partner with facilities, installers, contractors, and building management regarding maintenance, product installations, and showroom updates + Organize showroom samples, literature, displays, supplies, and refreshments while tracking expenditures and petty cash + Support Regional Vice President, District Managers, A& D Managers, and sales teams with presentation materials and day-to-day operations + Utilize Google Workspace and spreadsheets to manage administrative and operational tasks + Coordinate catering services for client meetings and events Typical events range from 10-20 attendees with occasional larger events + Recommend restaurants, coordinate travel, and book flights through company travel system Requirements- At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing position, ideally within a showroom, retail, or similar hospitality-driven setting.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to create a welcoming client experience.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to sales efforts while maintaining a service-first approach.
- Solid organizational skills and attention to detail when balancing client support, showroom upkeep, and administrative responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and confidence using common workplace technology.
- Interest in furniture, interiors, fashion, or design-oriented products is a plus.
