Manager, Shelter Partnerships and Events

Job Description

North Shore Animal League America is seeking a Manager, Shelter Partnerships and Events to oversee adoption partnership programs, events, partner engagement, sponsor activations, Pet Adoption Safety Search (PetPASS) recruitment, and Shelter Pet Outreach Team (SPOT) program operations. This role is responsible for building relationships, coordinating events, supporting volunteers, and driving adoption opportunities that further our lifesaving mission. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives on building partnerships, coordinating impactful events, and creating opportunities that help more animals find loving homes. The successful candidate will play a vital role in connecting shelters, sponsors, volunteers, and communities while advancing North Shore Animal League America's lifesaving mission. Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruit, support, and maintain relationships with shelter partners, sponsors, merchants, and SPOT locations. Promote and manage PetPASS participation and partner engagement. Coordinate national adoption events and activations, including logistics, staffing, and animal participation. Partner with Marketing, Development, Operations, and Shelter teams to ensure successful event execution. Track and report adoption and event results. Assist with sponsor activations, community outreach, and promotional efforts. Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for events and SPOT locations. Ensure compliance with NSALA standards and program requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience required. Previous shelter experience preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills. Excellent organization, planning, and project management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of animal welfare, shelter operations, and animal handling. Valid New York State driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to travel to national events as needed and work occasional evenings and weekends. Passion for animal welfare and helping animals find loving homes.
Salary:
