Event Coordinator - Entry-Level Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will assist in managing a variety of events, ensuring seamless execution from planning to completion. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational skills in the hospitality and events industry. Duties Assist in planning and coordinating events, including logistics, timelines, and vendor communications Collaborate closely with the banquet captain and event team to ensure smooth event operations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates throughout the event planning process Support project management tasks related to event execution, including managing schedules and coordinating resources Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare event documentation, schedules, and reports Contribute to managing event budgets by tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions Work alongside the hospitality team to deliver exceptional guest experiences during events Help oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure all aspects meet quality standards Requirements Previous experience or familiarity with the hospitality industry is preferred Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of project management principles related to event planning Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed A proactive attitude with strong organizational skills and attention to detail This entry-level position provides valuable experience in event management within a dynamic hospitality environment. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 44.0 per week
