Front of the House Manager/Team Lead and Event Coordinator Windy Knoll Holdings LLC Springfield, OH Job Details Full-time $25 - $60 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Team supervision Sales Attention to detail Bar management Leadership Full Job Description Windy Knoll Golf Club is looking for an energetic, organized, and hospitality-focused Front of House Manager / Team Lead & Event Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for helping oversee daily front-of-house operations at The Stables , supporting and leading our restaurant and bar staff, and coordinating events held at The Derby at Windy Knoll Golf Club . We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can lead by example, and is comfortable balancing restaurant operations with weddings, outings, parties, banquets, and other special events. Key Responsibilities Lead and support bartenders, servers, and other front-of-house staff during shifts Help create and manage weekly FOH schedules based on business needs and events Maintain high standards for guest service, cleanliness, appearance, and professionalism Assist with staff training, onboarding, and ongoing coaching Help manage opening and closing procedures Communicate with kitchen, golf, management, and event staff to keep operations running smoothly Monitor staffing and labor needs based on restaurant volume and scheduled events Serve as a point of contact for clients planning weddings, parties, golf outings, meetings, and other events Conduct event-space tours and assist prospective clients with event planning Coordinate event details including timelines, room setup, food and beverage needs, staffing, and vendor communication Ensure event spaces are properly set and ready before guests arrive Be present for and help oversee events to ensure a smooth guest experience Assist with promoting restaurant specials, events, and venue opportunities Help identify ways to improve guest experience, increase sales, and build repeat business What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Friendly, outgoing, and professional Dependable and comfortable taking ownership of a shift or event Highly organized with strong attention to detail Able to communicate effectively with staff, guests, vendors, and event clients Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to solve problems and make decisions when management is not immediately available Willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event hours as needed Experienced in restaurants, bars, hospitality, catering, events, or team leadership Previous management or event coordination experience is preferred, but we are also interested in candidates with strong hospitality experience who are ready to take the next step into leadership. About Windy Knoll Windy Knoll Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course in Springfield, Ohio featuring The Stables restaurant and bar and The Derby , our newly renovated banquet and event space accommodating events of up to approximately 250 guests. We are continuing to grow our golf, dining, and event operations and are looking for someone who wants to play an important role in that growth.
