Job Description

The Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association is seeking a full-time meeting and membership coordinator. PPMA is a statewide trade association that serves more than 700 podiatrists from our office in Camp Hill. The Goldfarb Foundation is the association's non-profit, educational arm which offers continuing education for our profession. This position will be responsible for supporting the Executive Director and Director of Education in the planning and implementation of association meetings and membership efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare meeting and conference materials Answer member questions about membership and upcoming events Coordinate with vendors, venues, and stakeholders Process event registrations Onboarding new members Membership invoicing and tracking Collaborating with marketing on membership campaigns Create minutes and track action items from board meetings Work on special projects with the Executive Director The ideal candidate will have: Strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point A team-oriented approach Effective oral and written communication skills Comfort using technology for organization and productivity Membership database software experience The ability to accomplish tasks independently with appropriate guidance A problem-solving nature This position requires: Supporting meeting activities onsite, including long days and some pre-planned nights and weekends Driver's license and reliable transportation Light lifting Variable times of sitting and/or standing Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Vacation time Sick time 401(k) matching Training opportunities Flexible schedule A four-year degree is preferred, but not required.
