Position Overview The Content & Event Manager will oversee content creation, social media coordination, event planning, promotional support, and community engagement initiatives for Burning Acre. This position requires a combination of creativity, organization, communication, and accountability. The ideal candidate can work independently, collaborate with store leadership, meet deadlines, and help develop marketing activities that support company growth.
Starting Pay:
$14-$16 per hour Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Social Media Create engaging photos, videos, reels, stories, and written content for Burning Acre's approved social media platforms. Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar. Produce creative content that showcases our brand, team, retail experience, events, and community. Coordinate content for approved product promotions, seasonal campaigns, and special initiatives. Capture behind-the-scenes content, team highlights, and customer-focused experiences. Collaborate with store leadership to identify content opportunities across assigned locations. Monitor content engagement and performance. Ensure all content follows company policies and applicable advertising and cannabis-related regulations. Event Planning & Execution Plan and coordinate in-store events, community activations, pop-ups, and vendor collaborations. Assist with event logistics, including timelines, supplies, staffing coordination, setup, and breakdown. Work with store managers and leadership to ensure events are properly planned and communicated. Identify opportunities for community partnerships and local business collaborations. Promote events before, during, and after each activation. Capture approved photos and videos for marketing purposes. Prepare event recaps and identify opportunities for improvement. Help ensure each event reflects Burning Acre's brand, values, and customer experience standards. Marketing & Brand Growth Support marketing initiatives designed to increase brand awareness and customer engagement. Collaborate with store teams on approved promotions and campaigns. Assist with accurate and consistent promotional communication. Track campaign and event performance against established goals. Bring fresh ideas to improve Burning Acre's presence in the community. Communicate challenges, resource needs, and progress to leadership. Daily & Weekly Goals At Burning Acre, creativity matters, but so does execution. The Content & Event Manager will work with leadership to establish measurable daily and weekly goals aligned with company priorities. Daily Expectations Complete assigned content and marketing priorities. Meet established deadlines for content creation and publication. Communicate progress, challenges, and roadblocks. Support assigned outreach and promotional activities. Maintain organized content and event materials. Follow through on daily commitments. Weekly Expectations Meet agreed-upon content production and publishing targets. Maintain and update the content calendar. Complete assigned event planning milestones. Coordinate with store teams on upcoming campaigns and events. Review content engagement and campaign performance. Submit a weekly recap of completed work, results, challenges, and upcoming priorities. Establish and work toward the following week's goals.

KPI & Accountability Meetings The Content & Event Manager will participate in regular check-ins with leadership to review progress, address obstacles, and establish upcoming priorities. Daily Check-Ins As scheduled, daily check-ins may include: Reviewing daily priorities and assigned deliverables. Confirming deadlines and event updates. Discussing roadblocks and resource needs. Reviewing outstanding tasks and follow-through. Weekly KPI Meetings Weekly meetings will focus on: Reviewing progress toward daily and weekly goals. Evaluating content engagement and campaign results. Reviewing event preparation and execution. Discussing completed work, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Establishing measurable goals for the upcoming week. Identifying opportunities for skill development and increased responsibility. Performance will be evaluated based on established expectations, quality of work, timeliness, communication, initiative, and progress toward agreed-upon goals.
