Event Coordinator Part-Time (15-20 hours/week) We're looking for a creative, organized, and outgoing Event Coordinator to help bring our community together through engaging events and activities in our dedicated event space. If you love working with children, planning unique experiences, and creating a welcoming environment, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize engaging weekly and seasonal family events
  • Brainstorm new event ideas, including sensory play, story times, crafts, toddler activities, shopping events, holiday celebrations, and more
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including supplies, setup, decorating, hosting, and cleanup Keep the event calendar organized, current, and visually appealing
  • Design event flyers and promotional materials for social media and in-store marketing
  • Coordinate with our social media team to promote upcoming events
  • Help maintain consistent event bookings and partnerships
  • Create a monthly event calendar for customers and social media
  • Welcome guests and ensure every event feels fun, organized, and memorable
  • Track event attendance and gather customer feedback
  • Assist on the sales floor as a Sales Associate when event support is not needed
Qualifications:
We're looking for someone who is:
  • Creative and full of fresh ideas
  • Comfortable leading groups of children and families
  • Friendly, outgoing, and confident speaking with guests
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects independently Reliable and dependable
  • Comfortable using Canva (or similar design software)
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds and assist with event setup and teardown
  • Available evenings and weekends as needed for events
Preferred Experience:
  • Event planning or coordination
  • Childcare, preschool, teaching, nannying, or youth programs
  • Retail or customer service
  • Social media or graphic design experience (Canva is a plus)
