Events Coordinator Job Description Reports To:
Manager Compensation:
Starting at $15-$20 per hour part-time 15-20 hours a week. The position has potential to become full time.
Attendance:
This position requires the ability to work with flexibility to include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on scheduled events. In addition, this position will support the company's reputation and awareness of the company's brand statement by presenting information in a creative, energetic, and positive manner.
Education and Experience/Qualifications:
This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to read and write fluently in English. o
Education/Experience:
College degree in Business, Hospitality Business, Communications, or related field. OR 1-2 years' experience in Event Coordination or related field.

Position Responsibilities:
Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Office Responsibilities Utilize Tripleseat to field inquiries, communicate with event point of contact, and track area conferences, etc. Follow up communication with clients - by lead, phone, email, in-person, etc. as needed Ensure banquet event orders are complete and printed by due date Create labels and signage for events within brand guidelines Send Thank you notes to all clients after their event has concluded Assist in keeping banquet storage organized On-Site Event Coordination Be on site for event execution or communicate with staff for onsite execution. Manage event staff- Communicate details such as food, beverage, set-up (including buffet), A/V and any special accommodations with client as noted in Tripleseat. Coordinate event set up Greet point of contact and review BEO/room layout or communicate with FOH management for in person meet and greet. Act as liaison between kitchen, service staff, and point of contact to ensure smooth execution of event Transition end of event to
