Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Events and Catering Sales and Planning Manager to assist our event and catering initiatives with passion and precision. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and orchestrating seamless event experiences from conception to completion. Your expertise in hospitality, event marketing, and project management will ensure every event exceeds expectations while maximizing revenue opportunities. Duties Develop and execute strategic sales plans to attract new clients and upsell additional services to existing customers, boosting overall revenue. Manage the full lifecycle of event planning, including venue selection, menu coordination, décor, logistics, and technical requirements. Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms while ensuring quality standards are met. Oversee the creation and management of detailed event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring profitability without compromising quality. Utilize event management software and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to organize client information, track sales pipelines, and streamline communication. Coordinate marketing efforts for events through targeted campaigns, social media promotion, and community outreach to increase visibility. Lead a team of staff or vendors during events, providing clear direction on guest services, technical setup, and overall event execution. Maintain excellent communication with clients throughout the planning process to ensure their vision is realized while managing expectations professionally. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement and identify opportunities for upselling future services. Experience Proven experience in hospitality or events management with a strong background in sales or catering within the hospitality industry. Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and executing large-scale events efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with experience using event management software and CRM systems. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective client interactions, team leadership, and vendor negotiations. Knowledge of marketing strategies related to events marketing and guest engagement techniques. Previous experience leading teams or coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver outstanding guest services.
