• Briarcliff, NY About Us Thompson & Bender is a strategic marketing, public relations, and events agency serving a diverse roster of Westchester clients. We work with real estate developers, healthcare systems, nonprofits, schools, government agencies, and more. The Role We're looking for someone who can wear two hats: plan and execute events from start to finish, and capture compelling photos, video, and livestream content at those events for social media and PR channels. You'll coordinate logistics, talk to vendors and clients, and be on the ground with a camera in hand—sometimes at the same time. What You'll Do Event Planning & Coordination Assist in planning and executing client activation events and community activities Coordinate event logistics, vendor relationships, timelines, and budgets Manage attendee communications, registration, and on-site check-in Keep clients in the loop with clear communication and consistent follow-ups Create event status reports, timelines, and track event success metrics Content Creation at Events Capture photo, video, and livestream content at client and agency events Create visual content (photos, video reels, graphics) for client social media and news/PR Shoot, edit, and produce short-form video for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms Provide livestreaming support when needed PR & Communications Support Assist with PR initiatives, press events, and community relations Draft calendar listings, press materials, photos, and videos from events Monitor media coverage and maintain coverage reports Administrative Follow internal office procedures Provide occasional phone support Qualifications Proven experience in event planning, event coordination, or event support Proficiency shooting and editing video (mobile, CapCut, Premiere, or similar) Proficiency with graphic design tools like Canva Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, event management, or related field (or equivalent work experience) What We're Looking For Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving Comfortable working both behind the scenes and on your feet at events
