Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Events Specialist for a contract opportunity in Lake Mary, FL. This hybrid role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical, and self-driven event professional with hands-on experience managing corporate events, trade shows, conferences, and vendor relationships. The Events Specialist will play a key role in supporting event strategy and execution, helping create a polished and professional brand presence at industry events. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute corporate events, trade shows, national conferences, strategic meetings, and hosted events from concept through completion.
- Manage event logistics including venue coordination, contracts, catering, A/V, room layouts, transportation, hotel accommodations, and branded materials.
- Coordinate invitations, registration, attendee tracking, RSVP management, confirmations, reminders, and post-event communications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with conference organizers, vendors, venue staff, internal teams, and external partners.
- Provide on-site event support, oversee booth operations, manage branding and promotional materials, and serve as a key point of contact during events.
- Track event performance, gather feedback, support post-event reporting, and coordinate with sales teams on attendee insights and lead follow-up. Compensation and Benefits
Pay Rate:
$25 to $30 per hour.Job Type:

3 to 4 months.Work Arrangement:
Hybrid in Lake Mary, FL, with 2 days in office.Travel:
National travel may be required for events. Required Qualifications and Skills- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of corporate events, trade shows, conferences, and strategic meetings.
- Manage event timelines, task lists, logistics, vendor relationships, and cross-functional coordination.
- Oversee attendee registration, communications, travel support, promotional materials, and on-site execution.
- Support event promotion, engagement activities, post-event reporting, and sales follow-up coordination.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate event planning, trade show management, or a related events role.
- Must have hands-on experience with trade shows and corporate events.
- Experience managing or orchestrating events, including vendor coordination and relationship management.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, and moving parts simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating B2B events, industry conferences, or professional meetings.
- Ability to manage event budgets, negotiate contracts, and track event performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging with prospects, vendors, executives, and industry leaders.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Willingness and ability to travel nationally as needed for events. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting event marketing, social media promotion, content creation, or digital campaigns related to events.
- Experience managing branded swag, promotional inventory, booth displays, and conference materials.
- Experience supporting VIP attendees, executive meetings, media opportunities, or public relations activities at events.
- Healthcare services, professional services, or B2B industry event experience.
