Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and detail-oriented Wedding & Event Planner to help coordinate and execute weddings and special events from the initial inquiry through the event day. This position will serve as a key point of contact for couples, families, vendors, guests, and internal staff, ensuring that every event is thoughtfully planned, organized, and carried out according to the client's vision. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to all emails, phone calls, and inquiries from potential wedding and event clients. Communicate with couples throughout the planning process to understand their vision, preferences, and specific event needs. Coordinate client requests and details with wedding vendors, including: Florists and floral designers Cake designers Caterers Photographers Officiants Other event vendors as needed Ensure that vendor arrangements and client requests are communicated clearly and followed through to completion. Assist the bride and groom throughout their wedding day, providing logistical support and helping the day run smoothly and according to schedule. Assist with event setup, including coordinating the placement and arrangement of décor, ceremony elements, tables, seating, and other event details. Work closely with other employees and event staff to ensure the design, layout, timeline, and specific details of the ceremony and reception are executed as planned. Help coordinate the ceremony and ensure all participants, vendors, and staff know where they need to be and when. Serve as a welcoming and helpful point of contact for guests, answering questions and assisting with their needs throughout the event.

Troubleshoot unexpected issues calmly and professionally during events and find appropriate solutions quickly. Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, and team members before and during each event. Help ensure that every aspect of the event reflects the couple's wishes and provides a positive, seamless experience. Perform other planning, coordination, and event-day duties as needed.

Highly organized and detail-oriented Friendly, professional, and approachable An excellent verbal and written communicator Comfortable interacting with clients, vendors, employees, and guests Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Calm and resourceful when unexpected situations arise Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative Passionate about weddings, events, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays when events require Success in This Role Success in this position means ensuring that clients feel heard, supported, and confident throughout the planning process and that their wedding or event day runs smoothly, beautifully, and according to their vision. Pay & Benefits $20 an hour 10% commission Plus any tips made working events 20 to 30 hours a week Hybrid work schedule (work online on days not needed on sight to meet with clients/ work the events)
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week

Hybrid remote in Hummelstown, PA 17036
