We proudly serve all of South Carolina, Georgia, and parts of North Carolina and Tenneessee. Our planners are dedicated to "crafting your special day", making our clients' wedding dreams come to life, and decreasing all the added stress that comes with wedding planning for all couples. We handle all the intricate details, from vendor coordination to timeline creation, and correspond with various vendors within the wedding industry. We are dedicated to all clients and ensuring every aspect of the wedding planning process and day-of coordination runs smoothly. Our company offers multiple services, including coordination,planning, decor, and florals. Overview A part-time Wedding Coordinator who brings professionalism, creativity, and calm under pressure to every event. If you're detail-driven, organized, and thrive in high-energy environments, you might be the perfect fit for our growing team. You'll work closely with couples and vendors to ensure each event runs smoothly during their big day. Coordinators must be strong in communication and should take direction well. Responsibilities Assist with planning and execution of weddings and special events Confirm logistics the day of the event with couple, vendors, and venues Execute day-of timelines and troubleshoot in real-time Represent Palmetto River Planning with professionalism and grace Manage logistics on the wedding day, including setup and breakdown of event space, coordination of vendors, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Utilize strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and venue staff. Confirm logistics the day of the event with couple, vendors, and venues Qualifications Proven experience in event planning, wedding coordination or hospitality is preferred. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage working ahead of schedule Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and handle last-minute changes effectively. Background in hospitality or guest services is a plus; experience in restaurants or hotels is beneficial. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required by event schedules. Must be based in or near the CSRA Willing to travel throughout Georgia and South Carolina, and parts of North Carolina and Tennessee Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (event setup and breakdown) Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Wedding Planner Certification Course or Degree is preferred
