Duties Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand event objectives, themes, and requirements Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, vendor negotiations, and logistical arrangements using event management software and CRM systems Manage event budgets meticulously, overseeing expenses related to catering, entertainment, venue rentals, decorations, and technical equipment while seeking opportunities for upselling additional services or upgrades Coordinate with vendors, venues, caterers, and suppliers to secure contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the planning process Oversee all aspects of event setup and execution on the day of the event, including guest registration, catering arrangements, technical setups, guest services, and hospitality management Lead a team of staff or volunteers by assigning tasks effectively and maintaining clear communication to guarantee smooth operations during events Conduct post-event evaluations by gathering feedback from clients and attendees to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future events Requirements Proven experience in event planning or management within the hospitality industry or related fields Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining positive vendor relationships Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), event management software, CRM systems, and technical tools relevant to event coordination Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Exceptional communication skills for client interactions, team leadership, and vendor negotiations Experience managing event budgets effectively while seeking cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality Knowledge of hospitality operations including guest services, catering logistics, contracts management, and banquet experience is highly desirable Demonstrated project management abilities with a focus on delivering high-quality events that exceed expectations Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required for event setup and execution Join us as an Event Coordinator where your enthusiasm meets strategic planning! Pay:
