Varies by event location Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and organized Event Monitor to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees at our monthly events. The Event Monitor plays an important role in maintaining event flow, assisting guests, and capturing content for promotional purposes. Responsibilities Ensure the event runs smoothly and according to schedule. Help maintain a positive and welcoming environment for all participants. Check tickets and registrations to prevent unauthorized entry or participation. Answer guest questions and address concerns in a professional and friendly manner. Provide attendees with clear instructions regarding event activities, rules, and expectations. Assist with transitions between activities and help maintain event flow. Take high-quality photos and videos throughout the event for marketing and promotional purposes. Report any issues or concerns to the event organizer promptly. Assist with basic event setup and cleanup if needed. Qualifications Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable speaking to groups and providing instructions. Ability to remain organized and attentive in a social environment. Comfortable taking photos and videos using a smartphone or camera. Ability to enforce event policies respectfully and professionally. Previous event, customer service, hospitality, or community engagement experience is preferred but not required. Compensation Pay rate is $60 per hour . Event Monitors typically work approximately 2.5 hours per event , resulting in approximately $150 in compensation per event . Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, can confidently manage small groups, pays attention to details, and helps create a positive and organized experience for attendees.
