The Special Events Coordinator supports the Administrative Director in scheduling, staffing, supplying and, at times, leading special events at our Smyrna and Murfreesboro gymnastics facilities. General responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Parents' Night Out - Smyrna Be willing and able to step in as a PNO Lead or PNO Coach as needed. Party Preparation Prepare and put together guest party bags ahead of scheduled parties. Prepare and maintain appropriate supply of party program materials. Smyrna Party Staffing Assist the Events Director with finding and securing staff for Smyrna birthday parties. Communicate any staffing issues or gaps to the Events Director. Saturday Gym Support Be available to work in the gyms on Saturdays when needed especially if there are overlapping parties in Smyrna scheduled. Help train party staff and new employees. Be able to step in as a coach or party host when coverage is needed. Provide additional support during busy Saturday party schedules as needed. Camp & Event Staffing Assist the Events Director with finding staff to cover schools out camp open shifts and other event needs . Communicate who is available and any remaining staffing needs back to the Events Director. Events inventory Assist the Events director in maintaining appropriate levels of events supplies for: Parties Schools out camps Recreational gymnastics competitions This role is primarily an administrative role. However, it does require the willingness and ability to lead with energy and enthusiasm, fun filled and appropriately supervised events a recreational gymnastics environment. No gymnastics experience required. Comprehensive paid training provided. Saturdays are a regular required part of the work schedule for this position and include supplemental Saturday pay in addition to the base hourly wage.
