As a Fundraising Event Assistant, you'll interact directly with the public, build positive customer experiences, and help grow fundraising campaigns that support impactful charity initiatives. Fundraising Event Assistant Responsibilities Represent partner charity organizations at local events and share their mission with the community Engage with every customer in a friendly, informative way to create positive customer experiences Assist with the setup, coordination, and execution of fundraising events and outreach campaigns Educate each customer about ongoing fundraising initiatives and opportunities to support a charity cause Answer customer questions about programs, events, and how fundraising efforts help communities Maintain professional and welcoming customer interactions throughout events Track customer engagement, fundraising participation, and event feedback Collaborate with the outreach team to improve customer communication strategies and strengthen fundraising campaigns Qualifications of the Fundraising Event Assistant High School Diploma or equivalent Experience in customer service, events, retail, or sales is helpful but not required Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers Outgoing personality with a passion for customer interaction and community engagement Interest in supporting charity organizations and participating in fundraising initiatives Reliable transportation to attend local fundraising events
