This is a highly collaborative, hands-on position for an organized, creative, and service-oriented professional who enjoys bringing people together and creating exceptional experiences. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and confident working with senior leaders, volunteers, members, vendors, and community partners. The Events Experience Manager will play an important role in ensuring TREC programs and events are strategic, financially successful, well-executed, and consistently reflect the quality and professionalism of the organization. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute events and programs from concept through completion, including timelines, logistics, venues, food and beverage, audio-visual, décor, registration, seating, signage, and on-site coordination. Develop and implement program strategies in partnership with senior leadership, committees, volunteers, and internal teams. Manage key member and volunteer programs, including the Programs Committee and Young Guns programming. Create and manage event budgets and revenue plans, including sponsorships, underwriting, fundraising, and event revenue; negotiate with vendors and monitor expenses to ensure financial goals are met. Manage vendors and event partners, serving as a primary point of contact and ensuring quality, timely delivery, and fulfillment of commitments. Coordinate internal staff and volunteers, including event briefs, assignments, meeting materials, agendas, supplies, and event-day responsibilities. Collaborate with Communications and Marketing on event promotion, signage, printed materials, scripts, presentations, timelines, and other event-related content. Lead logistics for larger events, including programs from 300 to 1,500+ attendees. Support and execute TREC's signature fundraising events, including committee coordination, production, logistics, and sponsorship benefit fulfillment. Create exceptional attendee experiences by anticipating needs, solving problems in real time, and maintaining a polished and professional presence. Conduct post-event debriefs and gather feedback to continuously improve programs and member experiences. Represent TREC professionally at events and support other organizational programs and special projects as needed. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree required. 2-3+ years of experience in event planning, meeting coordination, program management, member/donor relations, volunteer management, or a related field. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong vendor management, budgeting, and negotiation skills. Professional, confident, and poised when interacting with executives, board members, volunteers, members, and vendors. Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event/CRM technology; experience with Salesforce, Nimble, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Knowledge of the commercial real estate industry is a plus. Ability to work occasional evenings, early mornings, and weekends and travel locally as needed.
