Party & Venue Coordinator - Part Time Stay N' Play Flower Mound, TX Job Details Part-time $18 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Moving Assembly Experience working with children Attention to detail Organizational skills Full Job Description Party & Venue Coordinator — Part-Time We are looking for a dependable, highly organized, and creative Part-Time Party & Venue Coordinator to help manage the day-to-day party operations at our children's indoor play and event venue. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys event planning, decorating, customer service, organization, and hands-on work. You will help ensure that upcoming parties are properly planned, supplies are prepared, customers are communicated with, and the venue is ready for a great guest experience. This is more than a traditional Party Host position. We are looking for someone who can learn our systems, take ownership of party preparation, and help keep the venue organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities Party Planning & Coordination Review upcoming parties approximately four weeks in advance and identify party needs, add-ons, themes, colors, props, balloons, décor, and supplies Track party details and make sure all necessary items are prepared before the event Communicate with customers regarding party themes, color selections, inspiration photos, and other party details Follow up with upcoming weekend parties and answer routine questions Create custom party invitations using our templates and systems Order décor and party supplies as needed Maintain organized records and party preparation checklists Party Décor & Preparation Inflate and prepare balloons for upcoming parties Build balloon arches using our established balloon formulas and techniques — training will be provided Prepare simple centerpieces and party décor Pull, organize, and prepare props and decorations for upcoming events Help ensure all party materials are ready before the weekend Weekend Parties Set up birthday parties according to the selected package and theme Host and assist with weekend parties Help with party transitions, cleanup, and resetting the venue Make sure the party space is clean, organized, and guest-ready Venue & Inventory Monitor party and décor inventory Restock supplies and notify management when items need to be reordered Help maintain a clean, organized, and attractive facility Host limited weekday Open Play sessions while completing party preparation, administrative tasks, and venue organization Assist with other venue or event-related responsibilities as needed Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Extremely organized and detail-oriented Reliable and able to work independently Comfortable managing multiple upcoming events at once Creative and enjoys decorating or hands-on projects Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with customers Comfortable working around young children and families Able to follow established systems and decorating instructions Willing to learn balloon decorating and party setup techniques Able to anticipate needs and solve small problems without constant supervision Previous experience in event planning, party decorating, retail, childcare, customer service, venue operations, or administrative coordination is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Schedule This is a part-time position with both weekday and weekend hours.
Typical responsibilities may include:
Approximately two weekday shifts for Open Play and party preparation Additional weekday preparation hours depending on party volume Weekend availability for scheduled birthday parties Weekend availability is required. Hours may vary based on the number of parties scheduled each week. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position.
Candidates should be comfortable:
Standing and moving throughout a shift Setting up and cleaning event spaces Inflating balloons and assembling décor Moving party supplies, tables, props, and decorations Performing light cleaning and venue organization Why This Role Is Different This position offers the opportunity to become an important part of our party operations.
