Job Description

Pulaski County Sports and Entertainment is seeking a full-time Sales and Events Manager to generate revenue, support sports tourism events, and related facility operations. The role involves developing relationships with sponsors, organizers, and partners, managing the entire sales process, and collaborating with various stakeholders to grow sports tourism, optimize venue use, and improve the visitor experience. The position reports to the Sports Tourism and Entertainment Director and requires strong organizational and multitasking skills in a dynamic environment. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some weekend, evening, and holiday work required. The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000 and is commensurate with education and experience.
Educational Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, Communications, Event Management, or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent experience may also be considered. Candidates should have three to five years of progressively responsible experience in areas such as sales, sponsorship, sports tourism, event management, venue management, hospitality, or business development. Experience negotiating sponsorships or corporate partnerships is preferred, along with a background in coordinating sporting events or large public events.
