Job Summary The Gala 417 is a busy waterfront wedding and event venue in Virginia Beach, and we're looking for energetic, dependable people to join our Wedding Event Staff team. This is a great position for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, social environment and wants a part-time job that's actually fun. Our event staff helps bring weddings and celebrations to life while providing an exceptional experience for our couples and their guests. What You'll Do As a member of our Wedding Event Staff, you'll work alongside our venue managers, coordinators, bartenders, catering team, and other event staff throughout weddings and special events.

Responsibilities may include:

Setting tables and preparing event spaces before guest arrival Assisting with final event setup and details Welcoming and assisting guests Serving hors d'oeuvres, dinner, desserts, and beverages Clearing plates, glassware, and tables throughout the event Maintaining clean and organized guest and service areas Restocking event supplies as needed Assisting the venue team with transitions throughout the wedding Helping with breakdown and resetting the venue at the end of the night Jumping in wherever needed to keep the event running smoothly Who We're Looking For You do not need wedding or serving experience to be a great fit. We can teach the job- we're looking for the right personality and work ethic.

Most of our weddings and events take place Thursday through Sunday. Shifts are typically 8 hours in the range of 2pm-10pm. Shifts vary based on the event schedule and may include afternoons, evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Some shifts will be applied based on availability and some will be available for you to pick up at your leisure. A minimum of 4 shifts per month is required. This can be an especially good fit for college students, people looking for a second job, or anyone who wants flexible part-time work without committing to a traditional Monday-Friday schedule. Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
