Position Overview The Candy Sale Coordinator provides leadership and oversight for the planning, implementation, and successful completion of the organization's Seasonal Candy Sale. This role chairs the Candy Committee, coordinates volunteers, and manages key operations including ordering, inventory, distribution, and communication. The Coordinator also oversees incentive programs, organizes candy sale events, and maintains relationships with suppliers and site sale locations. In addition, the position tracks sales data and budgets while supporting participation and helping the organization achieve the fundrasing goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment while utilizing computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar) Orders, maintains, and distributes candy. Recruit, train, supervise, and recognize volunteer personnel. Creates, obtains, and distributes Candy Sale Prizes (emblems, certificates, candy currency, club reward, super seller event, party bus, and camp experiences). Ensure Candy Sale materials and information are prepared and distributed. Maintain accurate records of candy sale data and budgets. Plan and host Candy Sale events (Candy Rally, Super Seller Events, or other Candy Sale specific events). Work with the Candy Committee and staff to set and reach organizational goals. Other duties as assigned. Essential Qualities and Qualifications 21 years of age or over. Enjoy working with young people. Experience with Camp Fire, Camp Killoqua or other youth organizations. Excellent written and verbal communication. Organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work independently.
