Job Description
Landmark Event Co is a Seattle-based, full-service wedding and event management company at the intersection of historic buildings, impeccably executed events, and award winning catering. Event Servers Landmark Event Co.

Directly reporting to the Operations Manager, The Event Lead plays a key role in the success of every event and reports to the Event Coordinator for the day of events. From providing direction to the catering floor team, to professional service throughout the event, you will be at the center of it all. This position is ideal for a potential leader who is hardworking and dedicated to developing management skills.
Compensation (Hourly- Tips):$36 per hour (set hourly wage, in place of individual tips, our compensation model provides higher guaranteed wages)
Pull equipment and start preset for the event according to BEO details.
Delegate tasks to ensure that all setup is complete, according to floor plan, timeline and BEO.
Act as a liaison between wait staff and the Event Coordinator or Venue Manager to ensure timely and appropriate communications.
Observe the event, be present on the floor at all times and visible to accommodate staff needs.
Ensure guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
Assure all side work is completed, including all cleaning and organizing of equipment and storage areas. Notify the Operations Manager of needed maintenance and repair.
Once the event is over, make sure that closing procedures are met by all staff (bar, server and kitchen duties) and that equipment is put away.
Send post shift reports to management at completion of the event.
Enforce all Landmark Event Co. rules and policies, including supporting the Lead Bartender in cutting off intoxicated guests.
Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
Ensure event staff are exhibiting professional behavior.
Lead by example in professional attire and well groomed appearance. No Herban Feast attire can be worn at Landmark Venues.
Ensuring that all staff follows the State Laws for Food Safety and Alcohol Compliance.
Dependable, team-oriented, and professional in appearance and attitude.
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Reliable transportation required.
Current Washington State Food Handler Card.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

3+ years of serving experience (banquet or catering experience preferred).Exceptional customer service and multitasking skills.Dependable, team-oriented, and professional in appearance and attitude.
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environmental conditions.
