Job Description
Job Summary The Part-Time Event Coordinator assists the Sales & Event Manager with planning and executing events at the La Crosse Center. This position helps ensure events run smoothly while providing excellent service to clients, guests, and vendors. Duties Assist with event setup, execution, and teardown. Serve as an on-site contact for clients, vendors, and guests. Ensure rooms and facilities are prepared according to event specifications. Communicate event details and changes with internal departments. Assist with resolving event-related issues and customer requests. Conduct event walkthroughs and help maintain event checklists. Coordinate with maintenance, custodial, security, AV, and other departments as needed. Provide professional and friendly customer service. Follow all facility safety and operational policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Event, hospitality, customer service, or related experience preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends. Ability to stand, walk, and assist with moving tables, chairs, and event equipment.
