Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and physically capable Snow Shoveler's to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with snow services and a strong understanding of the necessary skills and techniques for this role. As a Snow Shoveler, you will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from walkways and other outdoor areas to ensure safety and accessibility. You will also apply ice melt products or traction sand to walkway surfaces to improve traction for safe travel.

Duties:

• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, parking lots, and other outdoor areas using hand tools and/or power tools.
• Spread ice melt by hand or with tools on walkway surfaces.
• Work effectively with a team to ensure efficient and thorough snow removal.
• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality services and responding promptly to call-outs for work.

Requirements:

• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Prefer experience in the snow services industry, but not required.
• Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of power tools and hand tools.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Physical stamina and endurance to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
