Alameda, CA Part-Time:

Approximately 10-12 hours per week TOMO Tea House is a small, locally operated boba shop in Alameda serving premium drinks and mochi donuts to our community.

Our goal is simple:

create a happy experience for every customer, one boba drink and donut at a time! We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking part-time team member who is available to work approximately 10-12 hours per week , primarily during evenings and weekends . This position is best suited for someone looking for a consistent, long-term part-time job. We are looking for candidates who can commit to at least 6 months. What You'll Do As a team member, you'll learn how to prepare our drinks, mochi donuts, and ingredients while providing friendly and efficient service to our customers. We're looking for someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, learns quickly, and works well with others.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare drinks and food items according to recipes and quality standards Take customer orders and provide friendly, efficient service Prep ingredients and restock supplies throughout the shift Maintain a clean and organized workspace and store Communicate clearly with coworkers and managers Work collaboratively with the team during busy periods Follow food safety, cleanliness, and store procedures Stay proactive by cleaning, restocking, and assisting with tasks without always needing to be asked What We're Looking For Availability to work approximately 10-12 hours per week Evening and weekend availability Ability to commit to the position for at least 6 months Reliable and punctual Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to learn Reliable transportation Food Handler Certificate (required) Previous food service, boba shop, or barista experience is preferred, but not required Previous customer service experience is preferred Pay & Training Starting pay for applicants without prior experience is $17.76/hour + tips . We're happy to train candidates who have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Performance reviews are conducted around the 6-month mark , with opportunities for incremental pay increases based on performance.
