This is a hands-on position where teamwork is essential. Our front-of-house team members share responsibility for providing excellent customer service, preparing quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and helping wherever needed throughout the shift. Roles & Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service. Take customer orders and accurately operate the POS/cashier system. Develop an interest in coffee and learn to properly prepare and execute espresso-based beverages. Prepare coffee, tea, and other specialty beverages accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain speed, consistency, and presentation during busy service periods. Run food to customers and ensure orders are delivered accurately. Bus, clean, and sanitize tables throughout the shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, dining area, and front-of-house workstations. Monitor and maintain customer restrooms throughout the shift, including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, emptying trash, and ensuring restrooms remain clean and presentable for guests. Assist with washing and putting away dishes as needed. Restock cups, lids, syrups, teas, coffee supplies, utensils, and other service items. Communicate effectively with kitchen, café, and fellow front-of-house team members. Help identify what needs to be done without always waiting to be asked. Complete opening, ongoing, and closing cleaning responsibilities. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, positive, and comfortable interacting with customers. Dependable and punctual. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Interested in learning about coffee, espresso, and tea. Able to multitask and transition between cashiering, beverage preparation, food running, bussing, cleaning, restroom maintenance, and dishes. Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. A strong team player who understands that front-of-house responsibilities are shared. Willing to learn and receptive to training and feedback. Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer-service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and genuine interest in learning.
