Our Cerritos, CA location is currently hiring a Cashier / Front-of-House Team Member to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to help wherever needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and card transactions accurately Greet customers, take orders, and provide friendly, efficient service Serve food quickly and accurately according to Flame Broiler standards Prepare rice and assist with basic food prep (cutting vegetables, portioning) Maintain cleanliness of front-of-house and kitchen areas Sweep, mop, wipe surfaces, and assist with general cleaning tasks Restock supplies and maintain organized workstations Assist both front-of-house and back-of-house during busy periods Ideal Candidate Qualifications Must be 18 years or older Reliable transportation required Strong communication and listening skills Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant Ability to adapt quickly to changing customer volume with a sense of urgency Ability to accurately follow recipes and operational guidelines Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-30 lbs Ability to firmly and safely grasp kitchen tools and utensils (knives, scoops, mops, etc.) Prior cashier, customer service, or restaurant experience preferred but not required
