Fukumi Restaurant Group is seeking friendly, dependable, and hardworking Front-of-House Team Members (Host/Hostess, Busser, Food Runner, and Server Positions) to join Fukumi Chaya X Momo Katsu and Pier 50 Sushi at our Davis location. Applicants will be considered for placement within the concept and FOH assignment that best aligns with their experience, qualifications, availability, customer-service strengths, and interview performance. Specific responsibilities may vary depending on the employee's assigned position, training, performance, and the restaurant's operational needs. Cross-training opportunities may also be available to support employee development and growth within Fukumi Restaurant Group. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner Provide attentive and efficient service throughout the guest experience Assist with greeting and seating guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, maintaining tables, and processing payments as assigned Accurately communicate guest orders and requests to the kitchen and service teams Deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns professionally Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized dining, waiting, and service areas Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables as needed Assist with opening, closing, restocking, and assigned side-work duties Communicate effectively with guests, kitchen employees, management, and other team members Work cooperatively with the team during busy service periods Follow all company food-safety, alcohol-service, workplace-safety, attendance, and customer-service policies and procedures Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned Qualifications Previous restaurant or customer-service experience is preferred but not required Strong customer-service and communication skills Positive attitude and genuine interest in hospitality Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including standing and walking for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation Alcohol-Service Requirement Certain FOH assignments may include serving alcoholic beverages. Employees assigned to alcohol-service duties must be legally eligible to perform those duties in California and must obtain and maintain a valid California Responsible Beverage Service certification within the timeframe required by state law.
