As a Sandwich Artist, you will craft customized sandwiches, manage food safety standards, and ensure a clean and welcoming workspace. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing food orders, sales transactions, and cash handling accurately. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food prep areas, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces, following food safety guidelines. Manage food service customer order management efficiently to minimize wait times and maximize customer satisfaction. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including slicers, ovens, toasters, and refrigeration units. Process cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service during retail sales transactions. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order processing accurately. Proven customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining sanitation standards in a food industry setting.
