GED ServSafe Food Handler Certification Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Position Summary:
Performs duties related to the safe ordering, preparation, handling, storage/distribution and serving of food. Works with a variety of modified and cultural diet variations. Provides a safe, clean environment and responds effectively to customer needs. May perform Lead duties when designated. May handle cash in retail areas. May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
[Required] High school diploma or equivalent. Must obtain High school diploma or GED equivalent within 12 months of employment. (In lieu of a high school diploma or GED equivalent requires a minimum of 5 years relatable experience). California Food Handlers Card; for Lead position must have ServSafe Certificate.
[Preferred Qualifications]:
Prior food service experience
Salary Range:
$25.30 - $26.90 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Salary range includes evening shift differential. As part of our ongoing effort to remain an employer of choice, eligible employees who work qualifying weekend shifts receive a competitive weekend rate.
