We have an immediate opening for a Full-time Carryout Utility Associate to join our team! The Carryout Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting customers with the safe, courteous, and efficient transportation and loading of purchased merchandise. This role contributes to a positive customer experience by demonstrating professionalism, attentiveness, and a commitment to service excellence. The Associate also supports operational standards by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the sales floor, lumber yard, loading areas, and other assigned workspaces. Key Responsibilities - Carryout Associate Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service. Assist customers with transporting and loading purchases into their vehicles. Safely handle heavy and oversized merchandise, including lumber, concrete, soil, hardware, and other products. Make sure merchandise is loaded safely and securely. Answer customer questions and direct customers to the appropriate team member when additional assistance is needed. Keep the parking lot, loading zones, and carryout areas clean and organized. Retrieve shopping carts and equipment and return them to designated areas. Assist with stocking shelves, front-facing merchandise, and organizing displays when needed. Follow proper lifting techniques and all company safety procedures. Work with other team members to support daily store operations. Qualifications - Carryout Associate A positive, customer-first attitude. Friendly and professional communication skills. Dependable and punctual attendance. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Willingness to help customers and team members throughout the store. Ability to safely lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 80 lbs. on a regular basis . Previous retail, warehouse, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required . Work Environment - Carryout Associate This is an active, hands-on position that requires: Frequent standing and walking. Regular lifting and carrying. Bending, reaching, and moving merchandise throughout the shift. Working both indoors and outdoors. Working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Following established safety procedures when handling merchandise and equipment.
