Job description:
Bread Mixing Team Member job duties include, but not limited to the following: Maintain the high standard of quality products being produced and follow Company Policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Follow proper procedures for proper dough mixing in process and machinery Pull, follow and fill recipes based on the production schedule Set-up equipment and ingredients for each days scheduled production, which includes: Scaling and preparing minor ingredients Pulling out ingredients from the warehouse Understand and implement FIFO/oldest out first. Proper lot number documentation, inventory control and related paperwork This position may also assist the dough production department as needed, which includes, but not limited to, these tasks: Handle and process raw dough, pan dough Use and operate the appropriate machinery for each product Clean/scrape dirty pans from debris and load on to carts Move red carts with pans and empty racks into the production room Transport racks of product to the appropriate destination At the end of the shift, help clean production equipment Be a positive member of the United Bakery Team. Follow proper procedures for proper dough production in process and machinery Help setup equipment for each day's scheduled production Be responsible for ensuring all products have been prepared in a timely and efficient manner Assist with other departments, if needed.
Preferred Qualifications/ Expectations:
Experience in safe food handling, BRCGS, food production or experience working in a restaurant. Willing and able to learn how to operate food processing equipment safely. Appropriately lift/unload containers weighing up to 50 pounds easily. Be able to read and comprehend English instructions and directions. Good hand/eye coordination and willing to do repetitive work Have a positive attitude, be able to follow instructions and work in a team environment. Willing to contribute to a safe working environment Work a flexible schedule with potential overtime. Must be able to stand during the entire shift Work up to 10 hours a day, any day of the week. Have excellent work and attendance record and attend all meetings as required Able to learn and complete a variety of duties as assigned
