Job Description

Position Overview:
As a Salad Prep Cook, you will play a key role in preparing ingredients and assembling salads in high volumes. Your responsibilities will span the entire salad-making process—from prepping and assembling to labeling and packing orders for shipment. Attention to detail and efficiency are essential in maintaining quality and consistency throughout production.
Responsibilities:
Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble salads in large quantities Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency Prepare, assemble, label and pack salads for shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Utilize strong knife skills for efficient and accurate ingredient preparation. Monitoring inventory levels of food items and supplies. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Schedule:
Part-time position (15-20 hours per week average, can increase seasonally) 7:00am-12:30pm morning shift
Pay:
$17.00-17.50 per hour depending on experience
Experience:
Preferred:
Zero to One (0-1) years food service experience; Knife Skills a
MUST Preferred:
Serve Safe Certification Skills:
Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments; the ability to operate required material handling equipment - getting on and off equipment throughout shift Strong communication
Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders daily
Organizational Skills:
Ability to fulfill large quantities in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Working in a team-based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders timely and with the highest quality

Maintain and drive safety policies; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shift
