Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders, sales transactions, and cash handling accurately. Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance sales, and manage food service customer order flow efficiently. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by regularly cleaning counters, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations. Serve customers promptly at the counter or drive-thru, providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude. Manage cash register operations, process cash and card transactions accurately, and handle retail sales transactions responsibly. Assist with bussing tables, sanitation duties, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn! Familiarity with food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment operation, and food safety management is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during high-volume periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations. Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided. Retail or grocery store experience involving food handling or cashiering is beneficial for understanding food industry standards.
