Job Description
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching credential or eligibility to obtain one. Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field. Prior experience teaching students with a range of learning differences at the middle school level is highly preferred. Strong skills in IEP development, implementation, and compliance. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and encouraging learning environment.Role Responsibilities:
Design engaging, differentiated lesson plans tailored to meet IEP goals and address diverse student needs. Deliver effective instruction and assessment for students in small group and one-on-one settings. Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to maximize student resources. Actively participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and family communications. Use data-driven decision-making to adapt teaching strategies for optimal student growth.
